This new facility aims to enhance access to hearing care in Jammu and is equipped to cater to the rising demand for auditory support in the region.

This effort highlights a critical step towards making hearing solutions more accessible to those who need them the most.

The BestSound Center, located at 17-A/D, Near District Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, redefines the approach to hearing care by bridging the gap between professional medical advice and consumer-friendly service. The facility promises to create a welcoming environment where visitors can receive personalized and considerate care.

According to the World Health Organization, approximately 63 million individuals in India suffer from significant hearing impairment. The urgency of addressing this issue increases in light of estimates that suggest the global count of people with disabling hearing loss could escalate from 430 million today to 700 million by 2050. Despite the dire statistics, limited access to hearing aids and care continues to hinder many, especially in rural and semi-urban areas.

“We believe that everyone deserves the right to quality hearing care, regardless of their location or financial standing,” stated Mr. Avinash Pawar, Managing Director and CEO of WSA India. “With the launch of BSC 3.0, residents of Jammu & Kashmir can now access the same level of care and advanced technology available globally. Our goal is to help people reconnect with their loved ones and communities.”

The center’s open layout encourages visitors to explore various hearing solutions without the typical clinical atmosphere. Equipped with advanced hearing evaluation technology, interactive sound zones, and expert guidance, BSC 3.0 offers a comprehensive service experience from assessment to device fitting.

WSA’s BestSound Center distinguishes itself with access to both Signia and Widex brands of hearing aids. Research shows that people’s sound preferences vary significantly, emphasizing the importance of personalized solutions. The technologies offered cater to different environments and listening preferences, providing tailored options for each visitor.

“The opening of the BestSound Center in Jammu is a milestone for us,” remarked Mr. John Zargar, Managing Director and CEO of Hearing Help Pvt Ltd. “Since 2019, we have observed individuals from this region traveling long distances for their hearing needs, often without adequate options. Our partnership with WSA enriches our community with world-class audiological care.”

As part of their charitable initiatives, the Suryoday Foundation worked diligently to identify deserving recipients for the donated hearing aids. Many beneficiaries expressed that cost was a significant barrier to seeking help for their hearing loss. Untreated hearing impairment leads to social isolation, affecting relationships and work. The BSC 3.0 initiative aims not just to provide aids but to ensure ongoing support for beneficiaries.

“True hearing care requires that it be accessible to all,” added Mr. Pawar. “Together with Hearing Help and Suryoday Foundation, we took a step forward today, helping individuals reclaim their lives and connections.”

Mr. Zargar emphasized his team’s dedication to following up with beneficiaries and conducting awareness initiatives throughout the wider region of Jammu. The goal is to promote proactive hearing health and demonstrate that effective solutions can significantly change lives for the better.

This comprehensive approach underscores the commitment of WS Audiology and Hearing Help to foster a community-oriented vision for hearing health across Jammu & Kashmir.
